Turned tonight into family movie night. We haven’t all sat down and watched a movie together—all five of us—in a while, so I decided tonight was the night.

We ordered pizza, made chocolate chip cookies, and somehow The Sheep Detectives is what we all settled on.

And I gotta say… that movie was adorable.

Even better? Our 16-year-old didn’t say it was terrible. 😂 So apparently we lucked out and found a movie that all three boys watched and were actually okay with.

That’s a parenting win for sure.

Anyway, I guess I just wanted to remember tonight.

The boys didn’t bicker. No one called the movie lame. We ate pizza and homemade cookies, and everyone’s phones were put away almost the whole time.

And trust me, in a technology-geared family, that was a win.

Nothing huge happened tonight. It was just one of those really ordinary nights that felt good while it was happening.

And maybe that’s why I wanted to write it down. 🤍
